Do You Believe??

BigFootSasquatch

So, what do you think…does the Sasquatch truly exist? Does he really roam the dense forested soil of western Canada and United States? While I am like most who debunk this mythical beast, I do wonder how and why these types of creatures have become so ingrained in our collective consciousness if, in fact, the vast majority of us do not believe in them. Is it that we want to believe? For as long as I have been alive I have the heard stories of the Loch Ness Monster, the Yeti, Ogopogo and, of course, the Sasquatch; and for hundreds of years people have believed in these myths and have dedicated their lives in the search for them. Why? Science and technology has done a lot to refute these creatures but the remaining .0001% chance of them actually existing seemingly continues to overshadow science (which I love!) Is it just human nature to want to believe in these types of beings, or do they actually exist? Discuss…

Click here for a great little clip from CBC Archives about a guy who has spent his entire life searching the illusive Sasquatch - this is beauty!
