Shenyang
October 18, 2008Today the Dragons are off to Shenyang to play some hockey. The Shenyang trip is always a great one because of its high emphasis on merrymaking and the inter-squad game that has become a huge tradition: The Shenyang Cup, which is a unique piece of hardware in the sense that in order to win the trophy you have to lose the inter-squad game. We will also be able to play a couple games against the local team there, which are always eventful - so, it should be a great weekend of hockey and rest will definitely be needed upon our arrival home Sunday night.

Does the losing team also have to report the weather for the upcoming week? I think that should be part of winning the Straker Cup.

Amidst all the studying and exams i have right now….a good ol’ hockey trip is what the doctor would prescribe for me….how I miss those.
As for my chess pieces, the pawns are 6cm in height and the rest of the pieces range in height up to 7cm in height. As for the chess board i think the decorated wooden cube would be a great idea, but because I already have my green and white granite board not sure if i’d get another board…..however, if you get one made i might be interested in a just a wooden decorated cube that my board can sit on….
