Well, today Canada lost the IIHF World Hockey Championships to our most (historically speaking) formidable opponent: Russia. While I did not catch the game it sure reads like it was a barnburner as well as a heartbreaker for Canada. Not to fear, we cannot win them all and, really, it just gives that much more excitement/intrigue for the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. International hockey - you gotta love it!
