Flags
March 22, 2008For whatever reason, I have always had a fascination with flags and have actually found that I am not too bad at knowing which flags are which. While I cannot boast to know them all, I seem to have the ability to find certain patterns in them and can usually get the answer correct, or be in the right vicinity geographically. So, my main question is this: can you? What national flag do you see before you?
Send a comment to give your answer (with reasoning), and, no cheating!!

Let me look like the fool then.
Nepal.
Reasons
Tibet in the news and on your blog .. looking in that neighbourhood
I believe Nepal has a monarchy and this flag has several crowns on it.
For those naysayers out there .. hey .. I took a chance.

A good, solid try with very sound reasoning, but, you are incorrect. I’m sorry. I will wait a couple more days to give my answer, but if you want to take another try the country is in Eastern Europe and it begins with an M. This is a tough, tough opener.

Moldova… the eastern Europe part gave it away… Mary’s Sister and brother-in-law lived there for a while (otherwise I would have no idea what it was)

I take that back - I just looked up the Moldova flag… and while close it isn’t the same…

Okay, the answer is Montenegro. Sorry, that was probably too tough to begin, but I thought the flag looked kinda cool. My next one I will ease up a little.
