Coward of the County
March 11, 2008I am not sure exactly how it happened, but the other day while flipping through Youtube I got sidetracked down a Kenny Rogers pathway. I came across this classic song of his and soaked in the nostalgia of it; now, our house didn’t have a lot of Kenny hanging around but there is no question he was big news while growing up. While listening to this song, I realized once again the power of this song. Yes, this is a nice, catchy little tune but when you really listen to the ballad there is some pretty serious s-h-i-t going on. Anyways, I can’t seem to get the jingle out of my head these days so I felt it deserved to be this week’s Song of the Week. Hope you enjoy!
