Which Way?

ForkInTheRoad

Question:

You’re walking down a street trying to get to Truesville where every one tells the truth. You come to a fork in the road and all that you know is that one road leads to Truesville and the other to Liesville where everyone lies. There is a girl in the middle of the fork and you don’t know if she is from Liesville or Truesville. What is the one question you can ask her to get to Truesville?

  1. ask her what YOUR name is. ask her what color the sky is. ask her if it is raining out. ask her if she is a boy or girl. ask her what day it is….

  3. Ask her which is the way to her town and go in the direction she points. If she is from Truesville she will point to Truesville. If she is from Liesville she will have to lie and will point to Truesville.

  5. You need to ask her the way to Liesville, because if she is from liesville she won’t send you to truesville and if she is from truesville she won’t
    lie to you.
