Cap’n Crunch
June 6, 2007Oh yes, this is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine! I love cereal to begin with, but I am a total sucker for the sugar based kiddie cereals, and Cap’n Crunch easily tops that list. Yes, I admit that I do feel a slight twinge of embarrassment when I am standing at the counter ready to purchase this, but I do not let that stop me; and now, thankfully, I have a child who I can pretend I am buying it for (thus allowing my guilty pleasure to remain a secret!) I cannot wait to go home this summer and have my fill. Cap’n Crunch, ladies and gentlemen, one of the all time classics!

The Maple Leaf Newspaper is good. I like reading it!!

So let’s start a list
Froot Loops - just cause o’ the Toucan
Golden Grahams - catchy tune “Oh those golden grahams”. My sister used to buy it and used to bust me sneaking some of her cereal cause I couldn’t stop singing that damn tune.

Well, top five go something like this:
1. Cap’n Crunch
2. Alpha Bits
3. Froot Loops
4. Corn Pops
5. Frosted Flakes
Am I missing any??

For catchy tunes what about the honey bear singing “can’t get enough of those sugar crisps”? Never did eat the cereal though. I’m a Quaker Harvest Crunch type…part granola but sweeter than mum wanted.

There is absolutely NO shame in your love of the crunch Craig. The only other one that comes close in my book is Froot Loops. Both are money.
