Yes, as I stated earlier, it is holiday time here in the Middle Kingdom. May 1st is the official Labor Day holiday, and depending on what job you have usually determines how many days you get off - with laborers generally getting the least amount! But, from what I understand, three to four days seems to be the norm. Us, on the other hand, have a blissful eight days off to lick the wounds and prepare for the final term 4 push. So, the big question is: what do the chinese do during this particular holiday? Well, it has been my experience that they all travel to Beijing and then do this - smoke cigarettes and play cards.
