Now, maybe not a true revolutionary perse, but, one cannot argue the impact this man had over the world while he was in charge of the Vatican. But what many don’t know was just how big of a sportsman the Pope was - ping pong, football, crokinole, he loved them all. But, in the inner circles of the Roman Catholic church, it was very widely regarded that ol’ John Paul was, in fact, the best bocce player in town. “Oh yes’a, the Pope’a throws’a the bocce ball as beautiful as Mother Mary herself.”
